The fine print behind Boared LLC's platform, this proposal, and how we handle your information.
By creating an account or attending, hosting, or listing an event through Boared, you agree to use the platform in a way that respects other users, venues, artists, and organizers. Accounts are personal and non-transferable; tickets and QR codes tied to an account may be transferred user to user as described in the product.
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event details, pricing, and revenue splits agreed with venues and artists. Boared facilitates ticket sales and marketplace transactions but is not a party to the underlying agreement between organizers, venues, and performers. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the policy set by the individual event host, disclosed on the event page at time of purchase.
Posts made to an event's Boared during and after the event become part of that event's community archive and remain visible unless deleted by the poster or the host. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant Boared a license to display it within the platform.
Any account may open a personal marketplace to sell merchandise, art, music, or digital downloads. Sellers are responsible for the legality, quality, and delivery of what they list. Boared may take a platform fee on marketplace and ticket transactions.
Boared may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, misrepresent events, or attempt to defraud other users. Users may delete their account at any time; some archived community posts tied to events they attended may remain as part of the historical record unless individually removed.
Boared collects the information you provide when creating a profile, posting, buying or selling tickets and merchandise, and messaging other users — along with basic device and usage data needed to run the app, like approximate location for local event discovery.
Your information is used to show you relevant local events, connect you with organizers and attendees, process ticket and marketplace transactions, and maintain the community archive tied to events you attend or host. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your profile Boared — including past events attended, hosted, or performed at, and any public posts — is visible to other users by design, since building a visible history is core to how Boared works. Tagged posts can be hidden from your profile at any time. Direct messages and group chats remain private to their participants.
You can edit or delete your profile information, hide tagged content, and request deletion of your account at any time from within the app. Some community archive content tied to events may be retained in de-identified form to preserve the historical record of an event.
This site presents the Boared LLC business proposal, including product plans, growth targets, and go-to-market strategy. It is intended for prospective partners, organizers, and investors as a description of the concept and direction — figures such as user, event, and ticket targets are projections, not guarantees, and are subject to change as the product develops.
Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer, a solicitation to purchase securities, or legal or financial advice.
